Dear Raider families and Community Members,

I am excited to host another Glenbard South Facilities Community Forum and Construction Update on Wednesday, April 16th at 6:30 – 7:00 PM in the Raider Gym. We recently shared a construction update with a video in my Principal’s Newsletter, which can be found here. You can find detailed, up-to-date information on the Glenbard District 87 Facilities Master Plan website. The projects slated for Glenbard South include a variety of renovations, remodeling and an addition. We are committed to providing regular updates and opportunities for feedback.

On April 16th we will provide updates on the following:

• The overall design, including schematic design of the new addition and upgrades
• An overview of the new windows that will be installed over the course of the next two years
• An overview of the general classroom updates that will happen throughout the building
• An overview of the updates and improvements to our athletic spaces
• The overall D87 four-year construction project schedule
• The referendum funding and bond issuance plan

As always, we appreciate the relationship that we have with our Raider families. We will continue to be proactive in our communication when it comes to these construction projects. I hope you’ll be able to join us on the 16th. This is also our Future Freshman Activity Fair night. At 7:00 pm, we will be welcoming the Class of 2029 and their families to learn about all of our extracurricular and athletic programs.
