Class Rings and Letterman Jackets:  Herff Jones will deliver class rings and letter jackets TODAY during lunch periods in the Commons Hallway. Bring your balance due to pick up your product. Personal checks will not be accepted for final payment. You may bring cash, money order or credit card. ATTENTION ALL NHS MEMBERS:  if you missed the NHS meeting it is your job to go to room 103 to see what you missed!!

Run -don't walk to Ms. Homan's room to get signed up to help out with the annual food drive & bell ringing -- just to name a few....

Habitat for Humanity:  Please come to the Habitat for Humanity meeting on Tuesday, November 7th right after school in room 201!! EVERYONE is welcome!! If you cannot come because of sports or another club please stop in a grab an agenda sheet. We are also doing our annual Habitat student fundraiser. Donate any amount of money to a Habitat student every Wednesday this month! All donations will go to the Red Cross to benefit the hurricane victims.

Political Debate & Consensus Club:  If you enjoy debate and/or fun discussions on politics, come to our meeting in room 301 on Wednesday, November 15 at 2:45 after school! Join us to discuss Social Media and Freedom of Speech - should Facebook, Twitter, and Google be held responsible for the content of their advertisements and work to reach consensus.

Supporting our Raider Families:  The winter months are a time to stay warm and also a time celebrate with family and friends during the holidays. It is also a time to support our community and our Raider families.  This year, we will once again collect monetary donations to support our families. Checks can be written to our "Needy Family Fund" or cash can be dropped off to the Main Office.

Gratitude Day:  After school Wednesday, November 15th, we will host another great service event for our students.  Join us to write a thank you note to someone that has made a difference to you!  This event is sponsored by the ACTS Committee, SFS and more.  As always, there will be FREE FOOD for students that participate!  Let's try to fill the Commons with students and staff for this year's event!

Bass Fishing:  Any students interested in learning about the sport of fishing? All students are welcome. No experience needed. Meetings are held on Monday evenings at 7 PM in the teacher lunch room.

Fall Musical: "Consider yourself one of the family" and get your tickets to see Oliver! performances are November 16, 17, & 18 at 7:30pm in the auditorium. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased in the Bookstore or by following the link on the Glenbard South Homepage. Come support your friends and classmates! Please email with any questions.

Passing Period Music:  We are once again able to play music in the hallway during passing period.  A special thank you goes out to Ashwin John for taking on this project this school year.  If you have a school appropriate song you would like to have played, please let him know.  Song requests can go to Ashwin's Instagram @sam_john2k17, or his Snapchat @ashwinsj13.

College Wear Tuesdays:  College Wear Tuesdays are back!  Please wear t-shirts, hoodies, and other school appropriate apparel featuring colleges and universities every Tuesday!

College and Career Resource Center:  Glenbard South also maintains a list of colleges, universities and military recruiters whose representatives have scheduled visits at our school. This list will be updated weekly on Wednesdays, so stop back frequently to see who is coming and sign up!

*If a college you are interested in is not currently on the list, please call Anne Lange, and we can reach out to that school to extend an invitation for that representative to visit.

TUTORS NEEDED: Are you an "A" student looking to tutor others and earn some extra income?  Aristotle Peers is looking for sophomore, junior and senior high school students to tutor others either locally or via Skype.  Starting pay is $12/hour, with the possibility of pay increases up to $17/hour.  Please see the website for more information and to apply online.

Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Help position available for fall/winter!:   Brumley Veterinary Clinic 5328 Main St. in Lisle is looking for part-time help to clean exam rooms, hold animals and assist staff 2-3 days per week.  Candidates should be 16 or older (but they would consider a motivated 15 year old).  Wages start at $8.25, with opportunities to earn more after 1-2 months of work.  Contact Dr. Tony Ketelaar at 630-852-3570 or
